Restoration of the YWCA building in Turin
The video documents the restoration and energy efficiency works of the historic YWCA building in Turin, an Art Nouveau masterpiece designed by Pietro Fenoglio's studio. In collaboration with Fratello Sole and Compagnia di San Paolo, the project preserved the architectural identity of the building, while improving its environmental sustainability.
In addition to historical valorization, the building will continue to play a fundamental social role, offering hospitality to refugees, migrants and people in difficulty, intertwining memory and innovation.
YWCA Rome - Vacation Hostel
In the heart of Rome, a comfortable and inclusive space where our values come alive following the rhythm of a long associative tradition.
It’s not a typical hotel but an informal space where hosting means welcoming one another: a student, a traveler, a pilgrim, a cycle tourist, a family in financial straits, a migrant, a woman who has been victim of violence.
If you choose to stay at our hostel, it means that you are supporting our school projects, both in Rome and in any other Italian location.
In the bowels of a capital full of history, the past leaves room for everyday life stories.
Make your stay a sharing experience!
YWCA IS ALSO SUSTAINABLE TOURISM!
Together with an environmental expert, you can plunge into the wonders of a scenery where History is the teacher and the fresh and wild “Sabina” nature masters the hills around the city of Rome. On foot or by bike, while respecting the environment.
