2016: “Al di qua del mare”: project started following the activation of an agreement between the Turin Prefecture and the YWCA-UCDG in order to receive and integrate 10 or 15 migrants from Africa.
2016: “Al di qua del mare”: project started following the activation of an agreement between the Turin Prefecture and the YWCA-UCDG in order to receive and integrate 10 or 15 migrants from Africa.
Support for study: from 4 to 6 variable length (few months to 2 years) scholarships in order to offer young women and men the opportunity to live in a welcoming place in which they can carry out either a study or a job-searching project so that they achieve independence and a decent life.
After-school: between 2012 and 2016 YWCA Rome has coordinated a service of after-school in a nearby junior high school.
2014: Renovation of the backyard which has been transformed into an ample space where children can play safely with their moms and socialize with volunteers and dedicated professionals.
2013: Renovation of suitable spaces to help women in need: a service of back-up measures was later activated for independence consisting of social workers and volunteers and networked with similar private organisations and public bodies.
